With Zenmuse TapZoom, focusing and zooming on a feature is as easy as a tap of the finger. Simply tap a finger on the screen and the camera will automatically adjust its focal length to provide an enlarged view of that area. The system provides a quick and intuitive zoom and focus interface, zooming in to show minute details in just seconds.

The 1/2.8 CMOS camera sensor has a variable aperture range of F1.6-4.7, and features 2.3 stops of exposure compensation. The sensor is capable of capturing 1080p 30fps video (MP4 or MOV) or single shot, 3 or 5 shot burst mode still imagery, so multiple frames of moving objects, such as wind turbine, can be quickly and easily captured. But with a long zoom comes the potential for image distortion caused by vibration and movement; however, the Z30 is mounted on a three-axis gimbal with ±0.01o of angular vibration tolerance range, which ensures the system is capable of capturing high quality and smooth imagery even when zoomed to the maximum extent.
