The Zenmuse H20 is DJI's first multi-sensor hybrid camera system and were built for the for the Matrice 300 RTK. By combing multiple image sensor on a single payload, these state-of-the-art sensor systems are designed to provide users with a whole new level of efficiency.
The new H20T features a combined 20MP zoom camera, a 12MP wide angle camera, and a radiometric thermal camera (640x512px), all in a single payload that even has a laser rangefinder!
The 20MP zoom camera features a 20x hybrid zoom, with a maximum zoom of 200x, and is mounted to a 1/1.7" CMOS sensor. This camera is capable of producing 20MP still images and 4K (30fps) video. The H20's wide-angle camera is a 12MP 1/2.3" CMOS sensor with a wide-angle lens that is equivalent focal length of 24mm, which provides a display field of view of 82.9Å—. The radiometric thermal camera can provide accurate measurements.
The thermal camera system is equipped with several key features to enhance the operator's workflow and improve efficiency.
These include:
With DJI's new seamless interface, a pilot in command can quickly switch between the wide angle and the thermal camera views and can preview the zoom field of view while in the thermal or wide-angle view.
The H20T is also equipped with a laser rangefinder with an operational range of 3m to 1,200m, and an accuracy of 0.2m (+/-) + (0.15% x distance). With the H20 you will not only be able to see far away objects up close but will also be able to accurately determine their distances.
Also new to this system is the "High-Res Grid Photo" feature. With High-Res Grid Photo a pilot can frame an area of interest with the wide-angle camera view, and the zoom camera will automatically capture a set of 20MP images of the area. These images are then stored together with the overview photo. Allowing the operator to quickly and easily capture a set of high-resolution images of a large object with just a few taps of the screen.
The H20T is IP44 rated, giving it protection against particulates and water droplets from any angle, and has an operational temperature range from -20Å—C to 50Å—C (-4Å—F to 122Å—F), making it a workhorse sensor that can be used in even the most adverse conditions. Additionally, the sensors feature active and electronic image stabilization technology, ensuring smooth videos and sharp still photographs.
The H20T was developed in conjunction with the Matrice 300 RTK airframe and the H20T gimbal mounts quickly to the gimbal mount for optimized performance right out of the box.
