The Eos Arrow Gold RTK offers a new feature called SafeRTK^®. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to stay connected to an RTK network in areas with poor cell coverage. The Arrow Gold SafeRTK^® feature is the answer. When the Arrow Gold loses connection to the RTK network, it switches to SafeRTK^® to enable the Arrow Gold to maintain RTK-level accuracy for up to 20 minutes, until the Arrow Gold is automatically reconnected to the RTK Network. This results in smooth, RTK-level RTK accuracy even in areas with poor cell coverage.

Environmental Engineer

The Arrow has made field work much easier and more accurate. Our team can now easily collect soil boring and monitoring well locations fast. Walking to previous points is a breeze. It is easy to transfer points we collected in the field right into figures when we get back to the office. We also love being able to see where we are on Site in real time.

We rented this device for an irrigation project in a local park and had such good feedback that we ended up buying the device. We were getting sub inch accuracy in open fields and around 6 inch accuracy in medium tree coverage. For our purposes of tracking sprinkler heads we were getting the accuracy we are needing to bring into CAD to create future water plans and also create an overall network of our parks irrigation.

Our office purchased two Arrow Gold RTK units. We were so pleased with performance we bought six more. They are replacing Leica RTK units that we used faithfully for many years. The battery life is 8-10 hours depending on application. The units are compact and lightweight. The Bluetooth is robust. We have walked up to 1000’ and maintained connection. The units have been used on wetland delineation, pipeline geohazard, and sediment projects. If you have an ESRI account I highly suggest using the ESRI apps and online tools. Data can be visualized real time in the office which makes QC efficient and data collection errors remedied quickly. Our data collection and processing has been streamlined increasing efficiencies which allows us to delivered a finished product to client sooner. Matt at Anatum provides exceptional customer service. He made sure we had the right tools, assisted us with setup, and provided timely support in the field. We have recommended these units to other offices and feedback has been positive. We will continue using Anatum for our GPS needs.

Project Engineer

For X and Y data, this machine is great often hitting <0.5 inch horizontal accuracy. Very little downtime due to satellite fixing. May require a restart at the beginning but once fired up and collecting, it does so seamlessly until the battery is drained (which takes all day). Z data can be reliable but the accuracy isn't always there for producing accurate topo. However, I have on several occasions been able to use Z data to produce accurate topo maps. All depends on the signal that day I suppose. All said, this machine has changed the way we prepare for design projects. Surveyors don't always get everything you want or need. This is a great supplement for data gaps in your survey.
